Russians Buying Crossbreds By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright Ixondon, July 23. Offerings at the wool sales to-day were 7975 'bales, including 3315 bales New Zealand. About 6077 bales of Australian and New Zealand wools were sold. Good Home and Continental demand continued, with Russians again buying greasy crossbreds at the highest rates of the series. Withdrawals were fewer than they were earlier in the sales. Late rates were fully maintained. New Zealand greasy crossbred, “Wairama Downs,” sold 101 d. highest, 9d. average.
