MOCK TRIAL HELD

Wellington Law Students A mock trial was held by the Wellington Law Students’ Society recently when the case of Anna May v. Swindles Ltd. and Gamble was argued before Mr. 11. H. Cornish, K.C. Messrs. A. G. Wicks and H. R. C. Wild appeared for the plaintiff, Messrs. R. J. Larkin and D. W. Arcus for the first defendant, and Mr. R. C. Connell for tile second defendant. The ease was carefully argued, the plaintiff succeeding against both defendants. The judge presiding complimented the counsel engaged and gave some very helpful criticisms on their addresses.
