Providing a degree of patience is exercised it is possible to tame some New Zealand native birds. This opinion of Mr. A. T. Pycroft was expressed at a meeting of the executive of the Auckland Zoological Society this week. On a recent visit to North Canterbury, said Mr. Pycroft. lie had seen bellbirds feeding from small honey pots attached to a stick, which was being held by a man, The man was a nature-l Over, and had spent a long time inducing the birds to feed from the pots.
