4 Nine-year-old Travels Alone to New Zealand By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, June 10. A boy of nine who has travelled alone from Jersey City, U.S.A., arrived by the Niagara to-day. His mother died in October and his father decided to send him to au uncle living near Welling, ton, to be brought up in a New Zealand family. 'The boy is a typical American child", self-possessed and unconcerned at the thought of a new life in a strange country.
