PARTY POLITICS
Labour Leader to Address Electors TOUR OF DOMINION A “speaking tour” of the Dominion has been planned by the Leader of the Labour Opposition, Mr. M. J. Savage, before the opening of the next and final session of the present Parliament. After attending a national executive meeting on June 10, 11, and 12, which will be held to consider the party’s election' policy and organisation, Mr. Savage will address several meetings in the North Island. Arrangements so far are tentative, but the centres in ■which Mr. Savage’s addresses will be delivered will probably include Maungatoroto (Marsden electorate), Te Awamutn, and Otorohanga (AVaitomo), Opotiki (Bay of Plenty), Gisborne and AVairoa (Gisborne), Dannevirke (Pahiatua), Stratford, Johnsonville, (Otaki), and Martinborough (Wairarapa). Mr. Savage will spend practically the whole of August in the South Island, and his meetings will take place in the rural electorates between Alotueka and AVairau and Awarua.
