MOTOR-CAR HITS FENCE

Man Taken to Hospital Serious injuries to his left leg were received by Air. L. Cooper, 100 Creswick Terrace, butcher, when the motor-car in which he was riding was impaled on a fence-post in Tinakori Road on Thursday night. He was removed to hospital by the Free Ambulance. The car crashed into the railings above a sunken road, and one of the fenceposts penetrated the bonnet of the car as far as the front seat.
