Free Churches Discuss War SUPPORT OF THE LEAGUE REAFFIRMED By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received April 11, 7,25 pan.) London, April 11. Following Dr. F. W. Norwood’s address, cabled yesterday, the Free Church Assembly passed a resolution that war is contrary to the mind of Christ and that God willed its abolition. ' The motion called on the Free Churches to give their utmost support to the League, to press for disarmament, and appealed to the churches throughout the world to resist excessive nationalism and urge Governments totally to abolish aerial warfare.
