MASTERTON ELECTIONS
Increase in Enrolments Masterton, April 11. Over two hundred enrolments were made on the Masterton borough supplementary roll, which closed yesterday, this number being well in excess of that on the supplementary roll two years ago. Yesterday a further candidate. Mr. C. B. McClymont. announced his intention of standing for a seat on the Masterton Borough Council. Mr. McClymont was a member of the council some years ago. Mrs. M. H. Jackson, who. owing to illness, is not seeking re-election to the ■Wairarapa Hospital Board, bad been a member of the board for twelve years, while Mr. ,1. C. Ewington. another borough representative on the board, has had 35 years’ continuous service.
