JUNIOR WOMEN’S CLUB
On 'Wednesday evening Mr. Karl Atkinson addressed the members of the Junior ’Women’s Club of the Y.W.C.A. on the topic of “Women in Music.” In the course of his Address the speaker indicated the influence of women, sometimes malign, but more often stimulating and inspiring, upon the artisticproduction of many eminent composers and musicians.’ Many -little sidelights and humorous references to the domestic affairs of these men made the address most entertaining, and the result was an evening of interest and charm.
A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr. Atkinson, and supper and informal chat concluded the evening.
