Auckland Restaurants By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, April IL Dearer meals at over 20 restaurants in the city, are announced by the Auckland Restaurant Proprietors’ Association. The increases wil] commence next Monday. Tlie secretary of the association, Mr. Page, said some of the quick-lunch establishments in the city would also raise their prices. Two and threecourse meals will cost 1/3 and onecourse meals 1/- at restaurants controlled by the association. At present the prices vary from 9d. to 1/-, theie being no rate fixed by the association. “The increase in prices has been mace necessary by the higher cost of such commodities as meat, vegetables and milk,” Mr. Page said.
