STREET ACCIDENTS
Car Strikes Two Men Two men walking together at ihe corner of 'Wakefield Street and Taranaki Street, 'Wellington, at 11.15 a.m. yesterday, were struck by a motor-ear and so injured that they had to be taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. They were Mr. W. 11. McConkey, 12 Pinnacle Street. Seatoiin, who received a lacerated wound on Ihe scalp and shock, and Mr. A. J. Hawkins. 9(1 Firje Street, who suffered abrasions on ,i l6g and shock. The ambulance took to the hospital also Lionel Sergent, aged 5. of 34 Awamutu Street, Lower Hutt, whose left arm was broken when he was knocked down by a bicycle in tlie street in which lie lives. The accident happened abniit 5 p.m. yesterday. Dr. 11. W. Nasii attended the child before the arrival of the ambulance.
