AUSTRALIAN DEBT
Total at End of 1934 Canberra, February 15. A statement issued by the Federal Treasury shows that the Public Debt of the Commonwealth and States at December 31 last reached £1,237,600,000, of which £394,000,000 was Commonwealth debt.
