When Tommy Head first went to school. He said, “It’s very strange, The children's names don't seem to fit; I think they ought to change! , “For Teddy Long is very short, . And Sammy Short is long; And then there’s naughty Gerald Good,. And tiny Leo Strong! “It’s funny, too, that Betty Gold Should have such straight blade hair, While Mollie Black, who lives next door, Is just as fair as fair! *And Lenny Large .(it’s very queer!) Is neither fat nor tall. While quite the biggest child in school Is named Irene Small! “Noto Peter Swift is rather slow, He isn’t swift a bit, And Harry*Quick is slower stillr— Their names don’t really fit!" But when Tom had his first report. He sighed, “It seemn I’m worst, Instead of being heat!, I’m last,. And Freddie Last is first!”
