Distance Telephone Calls “Person-to-Person” When you wish to speak to someone in a distant town, and have no precise idea as to his whereabouts (e.§., you may not be able, in the case of a visitor, to name his.hotel, or.’.in the case of a resident, to say whether at the moment he will be found at his home or at his business) ask the operator for a “Person-to-Person" call.
