EXCURSION TO WAITOMO CAVES
The Railway' Department announces having arranged an excursion fo Waitomo Caves from the Wairarapa on March 2 and 3, leaving Cross Creek at. 9.10 p.m., (he return train to leave Hangatiki at 7.20 p.m. on the Sunday night. Usual Napier trains will connect at Palmerston North. The fares are exceptionally cheap—less than 4<l. per mile for first class travel—-ami are available also from any to any station at which the train stnns. and also from the Napier line. The fare to Waitomo includes motor transport between Hangatiki and the eaves, and the guides’ fees for the throe caves.. An advertisement appears in this issue. Another excursion from Wellington to Waitomo has been arranged for Saturday, March 9.
