You girls of New Zealand, Rise up in your hate; ( You’re not at all modern, You’re right out of date. Your faces are shiny, She says, from neglect Of lipstick and powder And rouge for effect. Your frocks are too dowdy, They’re more than pre-war; You just get the cast-outs Of any world store. But don’t be-too heated On reading her views, She only just said it To make real hot news.
