BATHING IN RIVER
River Board Has No Power to Forbid It The statement that there was.no power to forbid bathing in the Hutt River was made at the meeting of the Hutt River Board yesterday when Mr. J. Mitchell asked if the board should erect notices at places which were dangerous. The engineer, Mr. H. gladden, pointed out that any deep hole was dangerous to non-swiminers. There used to be a dangerous spot near Belmont. No action was taken.
