j Successful Korero • Wearing the steel helmet which is the insignia- of the Tin Hat Club of the Returned Soldiers’ Association, Mr. K. Luke presided over a successful korero of the club last night. With a fund of wartime anecdotes, and an interesting topical lecturette on the city water supply, he enlivened an already attractive programme. After the korero had been opened by the singing of the National Anthem, the Club Orchestra accompanied a number of popular, war-time choruses, and followed them with severa’ selections. Artists who entertaned the company were Mr. T. McNair, Mr. 11. Myers. Mr. W. McKeon, Mr. W. Howlands, Mr. D. McLaren, Mr. .7. Osborne. Mr. L. K. Morris and Mr. T. Redshaw. The korero was attended by a large number of members, and proved a great success.
