FAMOUS ECHO VANISHES.
During the past year or two tourists in Hungary have been disappointed by the decrease of the one® famous echo at Tihany. A committee of investigation has discovered that the growth ot the tops of forty trees is responsible for the echo’s decrease, and these trees will be cut down before the summer season. The committee has also discovered that the once famous echo is even less powerful than .the echo heard from the top of the water-tower on the other side, and it has been decided to build a bastion and au outlook-platform for tourists on the water-tower.
