“Buch” (Waikanae) : Although no definite information about the caterpillar is available, it appears, from inquiries made at the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, that the insect is of a variety which is this year extensively attacking lupins, and could be combated in the first place by removing and destroying all lupin bushes in the vicinity of the bach.
