Another Australian Film
QHORTLY to be released is “Grandad Rudd,” a Cinesound production that will be released throughout New Zealand by British Empire Films. “Grandad Rudd” is said to be a worthy successor to “On Our Selection” —and even more amusing. One of the most amusing scenes is where ‘Grandad’s’ new tractor runs away .with Joe, one of the characters. Fences, sheds, haystacks, even the portly form of Dan, another of ‘Grandad’s’ sons are no check to its wild career, until it is abruptly brought face to face with ‘Grandad,’ who, with one wave of his hand, stays its course, and converts back into a tame “common or garden” tractor.
