OBITUARY
Mr. James Woods , The death occurred at Palmerston North on Tuesday of Mr. James Woods, a former resident of Roxton, states n Dominion Special Service message. Mr. Woods came from Ireland, where he was born in 1857, arriving in New Zealand fifty years ago He was for a time employed by Messrs. Turnbull ami Co.. Wellington After severing bis connection with that firm he spent fifteen years at Ashhurst, and then went to Foxton. where he resided until with in a short time of his death. Deceased never married, and was of a quiet ami retiring disposition. He always gave liberally to needy and deserving cases
