NOT GUILTY VERDICT
Dominion Special Service Palmerston North, February 6. Charged with having committed an indecent assault at Woodville on January 9, John George Coulson, salesman, aged 35, of Lower Hutt, appeared before the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, m the Supreme Court to-day. . After a retirement of 3o minutes the jury returned with a verdict of not Piiity. i Accused was discharged. In addressing the jury, counsel said that accused, who had an artificial left arm, could not have driven his car with
one hand and committed the offence at .the same time as was alleged by the 'Crown. .... His Honour informed accused that he would be well advised not to give young girls a ride in his motor-car in the future.
