BENEFIT CONCERT
Homes of Compassion In aid of the Mother Aubert Homes of Compassion, a repeat-recital was given by pupils of Miss Graeie Kerr and Miss Dorothy Daniels, in the Brougham Street Assembly Hall last night. There was a good attendance, and an excellent programme of varied items was contributed. The programme was as follows:—Ballet, pupils of Miss Daniels; musical monologue, Florence McKenzie; Italian sketch, Ngaira Collins; tap dance, Thelma Wakeford; humour, Daphne Violich; song and violin, May Hyam; humorous
recitation, Baby Burke; dramatic recital, Beverley Peek; humorous sketch, Patricia Kerr; tenor solo, Mr. Ray Trewern; character sketch, Cavell Trask; dialogue, Joyce Guyton and Vivian Violich; ballet, pupils of Miss Daniels; sketch, Daphne Violich; song and violin, May Hyam; dramatic recital, Joyce Guytnn; dance, Esme Chalk; duet in character, Ngaira Collins and Beverley Peek; recital, Miss Graeie Kerr; song and dance, little Connie Chalk; humour. Vivian Violich ; tenor solo, Mr. Ray Trewern; burlesque duo, Audrey Daniels and Esme Chalk; humorous sketch. Zela Dimock.
