Lord and Lady Baden-Powell and their daughters will arrive at Featherston on February 21 to stay at “Longwood,” the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. Riddiford. Mrs. N. Al. Irwin, Pownall Street, Masterton, is visiting Wanganui. Miss Agnes AlacLean, Wellington, has returned from Christchurch. Mrs. IV. Stacey, Wellington,’ is visiting Auckland. Miss Ethel Parsons has returned to Wanganui from the Sounds. Mrs. AV. Craig is a ’Wanganui visitor to Wellington.

Miss C. Bayly, Wanganui, is visiting Mrs. Douglas, Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Dinzer, Wellington, are visiting Auckland. Miss B. Chadwick, Whetukura, Dannevirke, is visiting ’Wellington. Mrs. H. Al. Boddington, Masterton, has returned from a visit to Auckland. Miss Alison Pearce, Wellington, is staying with Mrs. E. Al. Silk at Kawau, North Auckland. Mrs. 11. Hamblin, Auckland, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Grimwood, Lower Hutt.

Mrs. Vivian Riddiford has returned to Lower Hutt from a short stay at the Chateau Tongariro.

Miss Madge Castle has returned to ■Wellington after spending a holiday in the south. Misses J. Broad and D. Drew are Wanganui visitors to Masterton, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Broad. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Henderson nave returned to Dannevirke from a holiday in the South Island.

Mr. and Mrs. AV. H. Gaisford, “Oringi,” Dannevirke, are visiting Gisborne. ’•

Miss Gudgeon, Melbourne, is the guest of Miss 11. Rogers, Turakina Valley, Wanganui. Madame Betts-Vincent has returned to Wanganui after visiting Wellington and Christchurch.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Al. Hodder and family have returned to Masterton from a holiday at Paraparaumu Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Campbell and family have left Auckland for Wellington, where they will make their home.

Professor • and Mrs. Florence and their two children have returned to Wellington from Sumner, where they have spent the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Lyon, who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. Blennerhasset, Wanganui, have returned to 'Woodville. Mr. and Mrs. S. Powdrell have returned to Wanganui from a visit to Mr. and Mrs. Jack Powdrell, Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay.

Mrs. F. L. Hutchinson, Christchurch, who was the guest of her father, Mr. 'E. Gilbertson, Hobson Crescent; has returned home. Mrs. David Nathan, Manurewa, has left Auckland for Wanganui and Wellington. She will join the Alonowai for Sydney, en route to England. Miss Betty Holms, Rakaia, Christchurch, is another traveller en route for England who joins the Monowai on Friday. Mrs. H. R. AV. Beetham, Lansdowne, Masterton, and Mrs. S. Bolton, Pahiatua, have returned from a visit to the South Island.

Aliss Al. J. Smith, of the staff of the Shannon School, who has been spending the holidays with her brother at Dunedin, returned on Saturday. Airs. John Rolleston, Hawke’s Bay, will be the guest of Airs. John Barker, Woodbury, Christchurch, for the Russell-Rolleston wedding. Airs. Terence Watts, The Delta, Alarlborough, who has been the guest of Airs. Oscar Jacobsen during her stay at Wellington, has returned home.

Aliss Thelma Raphael, who has been the guest of Mr. and Airs. H. D. Raphael, Orchard Street, left Wellington last evening for her home at Christchurch.

The Rev. A. Wingfield, Vicar of Holy Cross Church, St. Kilda, Dunedin, and Airs. AVingfield are visiting Wellington. They arrived by yesterday’s ■steamer express. Aliss Hilda Otley, Christchurch, accompanied by her mother, arrived at AVellington yesterday morning en route to Auckland, where she will connect with the Monterey for the United States. Aliss Otley will be visiting Louisville and will later proceed to England. Airs. Otley intends staying at Auckland before returning south.

Kennard and Airs. E. Kennard, Roseville. Aliss Pockley is a member of one of the oldest pioneering families in New South Wales. AVith her parents she resided at Wellington for some years.-

Aliss Phyllis Eady, Auckland, will leave ■ Wellington by the Alonowai tomorrow for Sydney, where she will join the Otranto for Port Said. Aliss Eady will then continue overland to Cairo, where she will spend some time, before returning to New Zealand. She expects to be away for about four and a half months.
