NEW ZEALAND DIVISION OF THE ROYAL NAVY. VACANCY FOR MUSICIAN. FANE Musician is required for service in the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy. Candidates should be proficient in both a brass instrument and a stringed instrument, and be able to conduct and to transpose. They must be physically fit and prepared to produce evidence of good character. Age, over 18. Period of engagement, one year, with possible extension, and subject to three months’ probation. Conditions of service: Pay at commencing rate of 7/3 a day, with deferred pay aijd marriage allowance according to regulations. Free victualling. Free kit on entry, with allowance for subsequent upkeep. Acceptance will be subject to medical examination and proficiency test.
