TROTTING NOTES

Unhoppled Trotters and Improving Pacers WELLINGTON MEETING Summary of Form (By “Overcheck.”) The programme drawn up by the Wellington Trotting Club for its meeting on Saturday has been responsible for bringing together nicely balanced fields in eadh of the eight races to be run during the day, and the racing should be of a highly interesting character throughout. In fact, it will occasion.no surprise, if the meeting, from a racing standpoint, proves equal to any that has been held in the past, when, in many instances, the pressure of an outstanding performer or two has marred what would otherwise have been an interesting conteet. At the forthcoming meeting there is no outstanding performer in any one of the eight events and the whole of Hie runners have a more or less even chance of success.
