RAILWAY EXCURSION
The Railway Department announces having arranged an excursion for the week ended February 16-17 from Wellington through to New Plymouth and Wanganui and all principal stations en route. The train is timed to leave Wellington at 9.30 p.m. on the Saturday, and arrive at the several Wanganui and New Plymouth stations early on Sunday morning, returning on Sunday evening. By arranging the excursions to arrive at destination early on a Sunday morning. and to leave again in the evening, removes accommodation costs to patrons. First class carriages will be provided, and seats reserved free. The fares are actually less than fd. per mile for first class travel.
