Ashton—Lehrback Beneath a delicate frame of mauve and pink asters which arched across the chancel of St. Barnabas Church, Roseneath, Hulda, daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. Lehrback (Perth) was married to Theodore Harold, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ashton, Melbourne, by the Rev. F. McLevie yesterday afternoon. The bride, who was given away by Mr. C. F. Eskell, wore a slender fitting gown of dusky pink lace, made with long sleeves and a slight basque effect. Her hat was of the same pink, trimmed at the back with slightly darker roses. She carried a bouquet of pale carnations and deeper pink gladioli. The frock of tiie matron of honour, Mrs. Ernest Barry, made a striking contrast to the bride’s, being of figured delphinium blue crepe de chine. Her hat was of the same blue. Mr. W. A. Hislop acted as best man. s The bride and bridegroom then proceeded to Antrim House where Mrs. Wimberley (in a graceful dress of figured ninon with a gold background and a wide black hat) and Mrs. C. F Eskell (brown cire satin with matching hat), received tlie guests. Representatives of the various film exchanges in
Wellington were present, the bride' groom being secretary to Universal Films. When die bride and bridegroom left for their motor tour of the North Island, Mrs. Ashton wore a going away suit of fisherman red, with a black hat.
