Wellington Market Active PRICES GENERALLY FIRM’ Business -was again brisk on a firm market on the Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday when .a- substantial turnover was recorded. Bank of New Zealand D mortgage shares showed further appreciation in a sale at 32/3. Colonial Sugars advanced to sales at £4l/17/6. Tooths sold firmly at 51/-. Union Steam preference had a deal at 27/6 and Gear Meats sold at 22/4.
