YESTERDAY’S ACCIDENTS
» Struck by a pick while working in Brougham, Street yesterday. Mr. E. Maxton, carpenter, East Porirua, received it severe lacerated wound to his right hand. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. Slipping on the bathing steps at Evans Bay,.Mrs. N. Miller, who lives at Auckland, broke her left ankle and was removed to hospital by the ambulance. A schoolgirl, Doreen Loadsman. 263 The Parade, Island Bay. fractured her right arm when she fell off a bidvcle, and, after receiving medical attention, she was taken to hospital.
