Scott-Ramsay Cup The final series of matches for the Scott-Ramsay Cup was played last Saturday in fine weather. The results were ns follow: —Tawa Flat beat Johnsonville Methodist by 8 games to 4; Ponrua beat Woodlands by 9 games to o; Kia Ora beat Newlands by 7 games to o; Glenside. a bye. The final between Tawa Flat and Johnsonville Methodist was played at the Tawa Tennis Clubs’ courts under sweltering conditions, but was productive of the best tennis of the series. Although most of the games were closely contested, the winners of the cup definitely established their superiority on the day. The final positions of the competing teams are as under: —■ . . Points.
