Sir Charles Orr Visiting New Zealand Dominion Special Service Auckland, February 4. “The greatest force for good in the world to-day is the British Empire,” said Sir Charles Orr, a member of the Council of the Victoria League, who arrived on a short visit to the Dominion by the .Aorangi. During his tour of New Zealand Sir Charles intends to visit practically all the branches of the league and those of the Royal Empire Society, to both of which organisations he bears messages from their headquarters in (Britain. Speaking of affairs at Home, Sir ChArles said there were signs of improvement in tlie export trade, and everywhere one met the greatest optimism.
