TAINUI FROM LONDON
Due at Wellington To-day The Shaw Savill Company has received wireless advice from its liner Tainui, en route to Wellington from London and Southampton via Kingston and the Panama Canal, reporting that she can be expected to arrive in the stream at 2 o’clock this afternoon. She will berth about 3 p.m. at No. 1 south Queen’s wharf to land her North Island passengers and mails, and is to leave at 6 p.m. to-day for Lyttelton and Dunedin to discharge her London cargo. The vessel brings about 100 passengers and has 42 bags of mail and 233 parcel receptacles. The third shipment of Jamaican oranges to reach New Zealand this season is being brought by ,the Tainui, amounting to about 4000 cases.
