“Ob, it's there right enough 1” Mr. F. O. Stuart, a visitor to New Zealand from Elgin, Scotland, was quite emphatic on that point when talking of the Loch Ness monster to a “Sun” reporter “I have not seen it myself,” he said, “but 1 know several people of undoubted integrity who have seen it.” No further information regarding the species of the monster had been obtained. The general opinion was that it was a huge specimen of some variety of eel.
