INTER-ISLAND CRICKET
Weir' Replaced by Sale Keen interest is being taken in the North Island v. South Island cricket match, which is to be played in Wellington on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. G. L. Weir, of Auckland, has notified the selectors that he will be unable to play-, and his place will be taken by V. S. Sale, of Auckland.
The secretary of the New Zealand Cricket Council. Mr. W. 11. Winsor, Christchurch, notified the management committee of the Wellington Cricket Association last night by letter that he would be present at the match, ami would act as manager of both teams. It was decided to postpone all club matches on Saturday to allow Wellington players to attend the inter-island match.
