RUGBY MATCH DRAWN
England Plays Wales (Received January 20, 6.30 p.m.) London, January 19. In the first Rugby international match of the season at Twickenham England drew with 'Wales, 3-3. The attendance was 70,000. a record for the ground. Twenty-four special trains brought Welsh supporters, many wearing red berets, carrying leeks one of which was successfully tied to the north goalpost. Woolier scored the Welsh try early in the first, half, and Boughton equalled for England with a penaltygoal two minutes from time. The Duke of Kent was present. AMATEUR SOCCER MATCH (Received January 20, 6.30 p.m. London, January 19. An amateur Soccer international match between England and Wales at Wimbledon was won by England, 6-1. The half-time score wins 2-0.
