EASTBOURNE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. XTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that -*•' at a Special Meeting of the Eastbourne Borough Council, held on the 20th day of December, 1934, the following resolution was passed :— THAT the Eastbourne Borough Council, pursuant to a requisition dated October 26, 1934, issued by the Board of Health, ami to the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, The Municipal Corporal ions Act, 1933. and in pursuance of an Order-in-Conncil dated November 8, 1934, and in pursuance and exercise of every oilier Act and authority in Hint behalf enabling it, doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order as follows :— (1) To raise a Loan of Three Thousand Pounds (£30()0) foe the purpose of completing the installation of the Water and Sewerage Services in the Borough, sueli loan to lie known as the “Water and Sewerage Loan, 1934.” (2) That tlie term of the said loan shall not. exceed twenty-two (22) years. (3) That, the rule of interest on the Kiiid lonii shall not exceed Three and a Half Pounds per centum per annum, payable half yearly. (I) Tlinl: the said loan be repayable by Imlf-ycarly instalments of interest and ijrlm.-lpnl, over a period of two years. Hie lirsl. payment to be made not later Hum June 1, 1955. (5) That, tin- security for Hie interest and oilier charges and repayment of the said loan bo a Special Rule of one and live-eighths pence in Hie pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the tinIhiproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Eastbourne. AND Notice is hereby given that the Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary meeting of the Eastbourne Borough Council to be held on Thursday, the 24th day of January, 1935, at the Council Chambers, Mtikaro Street, Eastbourne, nt 7.30 p.m. Dated at Wellington this 21st day of December, 1934.
