Ou his return from Oakland, Sir Charles Kingsford Smith said: "I am considering two propositions at the present time. One is to sail to Australia on December 12 to attend to my business, and the other is to fly back to Australia over the same route as I came.” He declined to indicate what aeroplane he might fly, or other details.
