SILVERSTREAM WINS

Sports Contest Between St. Patrick’s Colleges For the first time since the competition, was inaugurated, four years ago, the Silverstream College won the Old Boys Trophy yesterday in the annual sports Contest between St. Patrick’s College, Silverstream, and St. Patrick’s College, Wellington. At the conclusion of the sports, the Silverstream College had gained 821 points, as against Wellington's 5<3J points. The sports woro held at Silverstream in a fairly strong northerly wind, and in many of the events some remarkably fine performances were seen. There was a largo attendance of parents and friends of the pupils. ■ In the following results, the respective colleges are denoted by W. and S. in parentheses:— ’
