Ericsson Shield Race The Poneke Amateur Cycling Club will hold a 22 miles teams’ race for the Ericsson Shield over the usual course, starting from Saids Street, Kilbirnie, to-morrow at 2.30 p.im. Teams will be selected prior to the start, and riders are asked' to be at thp starting point well before the starting time. There will be five riders to a team, the first four in to count. Those with the. best aggregate time will be the winners. This race will be the only one for the shield this season. The teams will start at five minute intervals, the catpains drawing for starting positions.
