Associated Chambers of Commerce \ By Telegraph-—Press Association. Christchurch, November 1. The annual conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce commenced this morning, Mr. A. M. Seaman, of Auckland, presiding. Delegates from sixteen centres are present. They were welcomed by the Deputy-Mayor of Christchurch, the Rev. J. K. Archer. Addresses were given by Messrs. R. Boulter, his Majesty’s Trade Commissioner, and H. H. Sterling, chairman of the Railways Board. The conference went on to consider remits.
