PRISONERS SENTENCED
By Telegraph-—Press Association. Napier, November 1, Prisoners were sentenced by Mr, Justice Ostler in the Supreme Court to-day as follow: Olive Muriel Goodwin, aged 42, on seven charges of false pretences and two of theft, one year’s hard labour, concurrent with her present term; Waaka Purua, aged 40, indecent assault on a girl, six months’ imprisonment with hard labour; Paul Golding Choate, aged 20, indecent assault on males, three years’ imprisonment with hard labour; Joseph Lewis, two charges of forgery and uttering, two years’ reformative detention.
