SECRETARIES TO MEET
Annual Conference of Institute
To-morrow night the third annual conference of members of the New Zealand Institute of Secretaries will be held in Wellington, and delegates from Auckland to Invercargill' will assemble.
Proceedings will be opened by the Mayor of Wellington, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, who will extend to the assembly an official welcome. After the formal business of the meeting has been disposed- of, a social entertainment will take place, and the Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Internal Affairs, will represent the Government. Other guests will include the Rt. Hon. Sir Frauds Bell, G.C.M.G., and Mr. J. S. Barton, C.M.G., together with representatives of kindred secretarial and accountancy bodies.
The New Zealand Institute of Secretaries Is the youngest of the professional bodies established in the Dommion, and its membership is over 700. The president of the institute, Mr. E A. Wallace, will preside at the convention.
