Girl Player 13 Years Old London, September 14. Nancy Jupp, the 13-year-old Scottish girl player, defeated Joan Mountford in the girls’ golf championship, 3 and 1. Miss Jupp is the smallest and the youngest girl ever to win the championship. LITTLE’S SECOND TITLE American Amateur Event Won (Received September 16, 7.30 p.m.) New York, September 15. At Brookline Lawson Little added the American amateur golf championship to his British title to-day, defeating Goldman 8 and 7. At Riverdale-(New Jersey) Desmond Shute won the Riverdale open tournament with 283. K. Laffoon tied for sixth with 296. and Craig Wood was seventh with 297.
