WRONG WOMAN AT THE ALTAR. At a wedding in the Dutch Reformed Church, at Villiersdorp, the bridegroom led up to the altar the wrong woman to br his bride. Only the persistent intervention of the organist prevented him from marrying her. . The marriage ceremony had already begun when the organist shouted to the minister. “That’s not the real bride He was promptly told not to call out in church. The congregation tittered. Somebody laughted out aloud, and was told to leave. Then the real bride arrived, and the marriage ceremony began again.
