Newtown School Jubilee.-The jubilee of the Newtown School will be celebrated on September 28, 29 and 30. (Left): the present school on the corner of Riddiford Street and Mein Sreet. (Right): The original schoolhouse of 1879, as it appears to-day, forming part of one of the buildings in the grounds of St. Thomass Church, Newtown. The left-handed section, with the higher gabled roof, has been added since the schoolhouse was removed many years ago from its original site in Riddiford Street, opposite Wilson Street.
