Mrs. T. J. Thurman, Majoribanks Streetj is visiting Tauranga. Miss. Daisy Harman, Christchurch, is staying with friends in Kelburn. Mrs. tt Kirkcaldie has returned to Wellington from Wanganui.

Mrs. Robert King, Masterton, is Visiting Wanganui.

Miss Allan has returned to Wanganui from Wellington.

Mrs. J. Barnes, New Plymouth, is visiting Wellington.

Miss Gvtha Howard. Hastings, Ims returned home after Spending a holiday in Wellington.

Miss H Robinson, who has been visiting Napier, . has returned to Wanganui Mr. and Mrs. F. Wells, 'Wellington, are visiting Greytowii, where they are staying with Miss Linda Feast. Sirs. Fyffe, who has been the guest of Mrs. Hoare, 'Wanganui, has returned to 'Wellington.

Miss Betty Mcßae, Palmerston North, ’has been in Wellington for a day or two, staying at the Hotel Cecil. Mr. and Mrs. E. Picot, Khandallah, are visiting Auckland and will later go to Rotorua.

Miss Harcourt, Haiswell Street, who has been visiting the Chateau, returned to XVelliiigton yesterday. Miss Theresa Ward, Christchurch, who has been staying with her aunt. Mrs. B. B. 'Wood, Heretaunga, has returned home.

Mr. H. Holland, M.P., and Mrs. Holland, who have been the guests of the Rev. Mr. Hunt, Wanganui, have returned to 'Wellington. Mrs. C. B. Trlmnell and Miss Nancy Trimneli, Bolton Street, will motor to Wanganui to-day, accompanied by Miss B. Hunter.

Mrs. Pat Holden and Mrs.' George Nicholls motored from Gisborne on Monday and are, the guests of Mrs. Holden’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John O’Shea, Oriental parade. Among recent guests at the Chateau were Mr. and Mrs. von< Schilling, Mr. and Mrs. XV. H. Johnson, Misses E. Cooke, G. Gray, V. Henderson, K. Taylor, 'Wellington, and a number of visitors from Hawke’s Bay.
