DAFFODIL FAIR
A special feature of the Daffodil Fair which the Rev, T. ’Fieldon Taylor is bolding in the Town Hall is the variety of side-shows. Considering the weather conditions which prevailed yesterday, the attendance was very good. The bridge party in the afternoon was especially successful. 3S tables being occupied. At the evening session, Miss O’Brien and pupils' gave a dancing exhibition, and .Miss Frieda Show contributed a physical culture display. Music was provided by the Band of the Ist Battalion, the Wellington Regiment. The programme for to-day will be as follow :—2 p.tn.. baby show ; 8 pan., Maypole dance: 8.15 p.m.. exhibition dancing by Miss Margaret O’Connor and pupils; 9.15 p.m.. Claufle Sanders and party. The music will be supplied by the 'Working Men’s Club Orchestra.
