Man’s Wooden Leg Snapped

Mr. E. IV. Brosser, n farmer, of Irwell. lost a leg last night when a car which he was driving crashed through the railings of the Selwyn Bridge and fell ten feet to the river bank below, but it "'as only his wooden leg; It snapped In two. Another unusual feature was that of four young children who were also in the car, none suffered the slightest injury, though the car was badly damaged mid part of the bridge railing penetrated the roof.
